What Kind of Difference Do You Want to Make?

What Kind of Difference Do You Want to Make?

Have you ever felt a still small voice nudging you in a certain direction? Does the thought of a specific project bring tears of joy, wonder, and anticipation to your eyes? Has your heart rate ever rapidly increased by just the mention of an idea?

A few years ago, I experienced one of these sparks and found myself at a metaphorical fork in the road. It was a critical moment that required pivoting to the right or to the left. Remaining immobilized where the two paths diverged wasn't an option. Life was already full and simply adding another project to my plate wasn't going to serve me or anyone else well.

With the encouragement of a mentor, close friends, and my family, I took a leap of faith and pursued a new path. That path lead me to you and this inspiring community. It wasn't that my current projects weren't exciting or honorable, the season ahead just required a different trajectory.

With a million competing priorities and to-dos, it's easy to get caught up in the daily grind and lose sight of who we are and what our unique purpose is. If you've experienced a similar nudging, I encourage you to listen to those stirrings. Don’t let fear of the unknown hold you back from pursuing a path you feel called to travel. What might feel like a small seed of inspiration now has the potential to blossom and grow in ways you could never even imagine.
